Presenting:-

EP 1:10 RC Drift challenge by DBDT Rc Team

Date of challenge: 30th & 31st October 2010

Venue: Indoor stadium carpark

Best of 16 to be selected through 300 point system format

Points are to be deducted should:-

i) Car hitting the inside line (-10)

ii) Car sliding and hitting the outer line. (-20)

iii) Hitting an opponents car who has the advantage of the racing line (-30)

iv) Not drifting at all and goin straight on a line (-5)

v) 5 seconds behind leading opponent (-15)

Top16/Top 8/Finals will battle it out using the same point system but base best of 2 rounds. Should there be a tie, a sudden-death system will be used. There will be a minimum of 2 judges for this Tournament.

R&R:

1) EP 1/10 scale 4wd chassis 190-200mm (countersteer is allowed)

2) HPI T-Drifts 4406 (Used T-drifts should be still visible with the hpi logo)

3) 9 Turn motor brushless only.

4) Bodyshell should be realistic, street legal or D1 Shell. GT series shell will be accepted but not TC shells

5)$15 entrance fee (subject to availability)

Prizes are made available to the top 8 drifters.

RACE FORMAT : DRIFT-Tech Format
1. Qualifying Round, 3 Heats (Best Of 1 Heat, in the searchof top 32 and then top 16)
2. Tandem Drift Battle (The Top 16 Drivers to reach top 8 and into the finals)
3. Best BodyshellCHASSIS : Open for any 1/10

BODY : any 1/10 Scale Body (190mm/200mm)

MOTOR : 9 turn brushless motor ONLY

BATTERY : Open

TIRE : HPI T-Drift Tyres #4406 new or used

ENTRANCE FEE : $15
Closing date for all entries will be 23th September 2010 and all entrance fee to submitted to kawanria mall branch only.We hope racers can make payment before due date to allow time to arrange trophies and lucky draws

PRIZES : Will be given to the Top 8 Drivers, Top Qualifier and Best Bodyshell winner. we got awesome lucky draw for all drivers.

RULES AND REGULATION
- QUALIFYING ROUND -
1. each drivers will start the challenge with 300 points in every 1 heat and complete their lap with the best time
2. drivers must keep the maximum points in every heat and their best time (Priority - the best heat points will be taken then the best time for ranking) to advance in the top 16 and top 8 drivers.
3. there will be deduction of points made during the 3 heats in qualifying round if:-
i: drivers hitting,bumping the inner line of the track - 10 points deduction
ii: drivers hitting,bumping the outer line of the track - 20 points deduction
iii. drivers bumping the opponents car - 30 points deduction

All deduction of points will be made by two judges.

WEIGHT - 1450 grams, Ready to race including timing equipment

BATTERY - Open for Two(2) Cells Lipo hardpack (7.4 volts), Open for Sub C - max 6 cells Nimh (7.2 volts)

MOTOR -

- Stock Class - TO BE CONFIRMED

- Open Modified - Any brushless and brushed motor

QUALIFYING - 5 (Five) Rounds of 5 (Five) Minutes, Best of 1 (One) Heat Qualifying.

FINAL - 3 (Three) League of 5 (Five) Minutes, Best of 2 (Two) League Counts (Point System).
