Mini Drift Challenge Sempena Hari Raya

Venue: Tudong Saji
Date: 17th October 2009
Time: 08:00 pm - Onwards
Chassis: Open For Any 1/10
Body: 180mm - 200mm
Motor: Open
Battery: Open
Tyre: NEW / USED HPI T-Drift Tyre #4406 (Tyre will be checked & marked before the race)
Entrance Fee: $10

Race Format:
> Qualifying Round - 3 Heats (Best of 1 Heat)
> Battle (The Top 16 Drivers)

-Qualifying Round-
> Each drivers will start the challenge with 300 points in every 1 heat and complete their lap with best time.
> Drivers must keep the maximum points in every heat and their best time (Priority - the best heat points will be taken then the best time for ranking) to advance in the top 16 drivers in battle round.
> There will be a deduction of points made during the 3 heats in qualifying round if :-
(i) Hitting & Bumping the inner line of the track - 10 points deduction
(ii) Hitting & Bumping the outer line of the track - 20 points deduction
(iii) Hitting & Bumping the opponent car - 30 points deduction
> All deduction of points will be made by 2 judges.

The long awaiting HPI Open Drift challenge @ KL has been confirmed as follows:-

Venue : The Mines Shopping Fair, Seri Kembangan, KL. - Concourse area
Date : 12-14 Nov 2009 (Thu - Sat).
Track Size : Estimate 1500 sq.ft (Indoor Carpet).

12-13 Nov: Free Practice.
14 Nov: Competition day.

Entry Fees: S$40 (includes HPI Super Drift tires #4402)

(A) Car models: Open to all 1/10 EP on road cars.
(B) Batteries: 6 cell 7.2v NiCd/NiMH or Lipo 2 cell 7.4v only.
(C) Motor: Open to any motor (Brush or Brushless).
(D) Body Shell: Open to any Body shell.
(E) Lighting and accessories are allowed.
(F) Weight: no limit.

Planning Another Drift Tournament!!!!

To all Drifters,
Right now I'm planning to make another drift tournament in KB this coming Saturday (mcm biasa lah tu mlm nya). Mula-mula planning on Sunday pagi plg, tapi since on Sunday atu selalunya ada tamu gerai d-tudong saji on that day, so takut nada space.

Another things, if it confirm.. what format do you guys prefer:
(i) Drift Challenge Point/Time (Like Drift-Tech organized it last time)
(ii) Drift Battle

About the rules, I would like to stick with the HPI tires (Like the same rules that Drift-Tech made it).
So what do you all say??? Hehehe....
